I’m very particular about hiring someone for work done in or around my house because so many friends and coworkers have had terrible experiences with work not up to par. So when a friend recommended Luis Bueno, I took it seriously. Thank goodness I did. Luis was 100% professional and courteous at all times. First, since I have no sense of design whatsoever, he did it all himself. Secondly, he did the work in a timely manner so that there was minimal inconvenience. I was impressed by the quality of work Luis Bueno had shown me from previous jobs he had done, along with his 40 years of experience and expertise. We made the decision to go with Luis and it was the best choice we ever made. He is a true artisan in his craft who takes pride in his work, as well as his attention to detail. One of the things we appreciated was his honesty in his suggestions and willingness to provide the best service possible. Another thing we noticed, is how clean he maintained the worksite, with everything properly covered, floors and walls. I was under a time pressure to get the work completed and move in.Their team did a phenomenal job – the work was completed on time (I didn’t have to chase them), they consulted me when needed (I wasn’t overwhelmed or needed to be involved on a day-to-day basis), gave me great suggestions (As an example installing an LED floor light For the step down), and delivered great quality floors (pictures speak for themselves). My family has had to engage contractors in 2025 and 2026 to make a number of remodeling enhancements to our Coral Springs house to accommodate disability accessibility; this importantly has included remodeling a bathroom and our kitchen – great room areas. It’s not easy to find competent, reliable, and trustworthy contractors with accessibility remodeling experience in Broward and Palm Beach Counties. We asked Artistic Tile & Marble to help us out here for a number of compelling reasons. Beyond clearing the three important hurdles in the previous sentence, the Principal, Luis Bueno, has demonstrated a keen interest in working with us (including consulting our physical therapists) to work with us to sort out quite a few disability accessible issues. We didn’t have all the answers ourselves and we needed quite a bit of conversation and coordination in planning, design, and execution. Luis was quite willing to work very hands-on with us, and to bring in the right resources and to recommend suppliers and other vendors that could help us along the way.
In addition, we also wanted to leverage the”artistic” in Artistic Tile & Marble to incorporate elements of museum-like display into our redesign to showcase artwork and certain family heirlooms. We knew that Luis himself had artistic talents and a penchant and passion for doing interesting design work.
He did and he did; we are quite pleased with the outcome.
The acid test for satisfaction and the highest compliment for doing great work is to engage (ask) a contractor to perform additional work. Luis and company are busy guys and we are undoubtedly “high maintenance” clients (my words, not Luis’). We have asked Luis to consider doing additional work for us as we continue our journey along the lines that I share here. We hope that he will.
Oh, by the way — we have found Luis to be a very good listener; he’s not shy about sharing his thoughts and pushing back if he feels that his ideas and approaches are in our best interests, and he hasn’t tried to sell us things that we don’t want or need. These may or not be important issues and experiences to you. They are very important to us.

There’s no other way to say it – Luis is truly an artist. Anyone can install something, but not just anyone can do it with the level of craftsmanship, design, and professionalism that Luis brings to each project. Artistic Tile and Marble delivered on our vision. Artistic Tile and Marble was recommended to us by a designer. We have a very large, tall fireplace core in the middle of our home that we decided to cover with coral stone from the Dominican Republic. Our home is a unique mid century modern home with NO right angles. Every joint, corner, or transition has non standard angles. Luis was able to tackle the job with beautiful results. He was able to precisely cut all of the joints and bevels in a manner that resulted in a near seamless surface that is uniform and consistent. Luis and his team were professional, polite and courteous and every day, they cleaned and organized the work site, minimizing the impact to our space while construction was taking place. Luis is indeed artistic and creative and is definitely a can-do professional. If you can dream it, he can execute the work for you. We strongly recommend Luis and Artistic Tile for any and all tile and marble work, inside and out. Luis had done fabulous work to two of our homes including complete gut of five bathrooms and various projects throughout the house and fence building in the past twelve years.
